Botkier Lita Clutch

Bloomingdales is having one of their Big Brown Sales with an extra 30-50% off already reduced merchandise.

To celebrate, someone should get me this Botkier Lita Clutch.

It would be absolutely perfect for the holiday parties that will be fast approaching! The silver is really festive, but since it's neutral, it'll still go with almost anything.

Plus, it's definitely big enough to hold everything you're going to need for a night out.

Chic Casual Shoulder Bag by Diesel

The Diesel Bags Round Lock Figure in "Sea Spray Green" is pretty cool.

This bag looks very unique with its awesome white hardware, exterior pockets (one with a turnlock!), and shaped top. It's made of soft Nappa leather and features multiple compartments which makes it easy to organize all your stuff.

Size-wise, it's fairly large, but not outrageous carry-your-kitchen-sink-in-it huge.

Great Clutches

A clutch large enough for a little more than just bare basics is always useful.

The Perlina Cache And Carry Wristlet has a kisslock AND a turnlock closure. The addition of an exterior pocket is useful for organization, and asides from the scarlet color it's shown it, it also comes in black, ocean, bronze, and pewter.

The Kenneth Cole Reaction Shine of Your Life Clutch has some nice seaming, a wristlet strap, and the framed clasp closure is a perfect for a clutch like this (they are the easiest to open/close without being too loose). The white color it's shown is actually not available, but it does come in luggage, chocolate, midnight, and (my favorite) cranberry.

Bags I'm Wishing/Dreaming About

I have been admiring the Andrea Brueckner Luxembourg Satchel in Saddle from afar for awhile now. The rich color, the contrast handles, and all the exterior zipper pockets.

The Chloe Ecru Lambskin 'Maggie' Small Satchel is a stunning bag too. I have recently discovered that I'm not a fan of bright white bags for myself, but adore off-white ones. This is a luxe satchel with some gorgeous brasstone hardware (including a turnlock).

ATL Dresses for Warmer Weather

For a relaxing spring or summer day, I like the V-Neck Contrast Stitch Dress at left. It's made of light jersey and is such a happy color. The neckline has an attached lining so it's not too revealing and the contrast stitching at the empire waist gives it a little added something.

For those warm days when you have to go to the office, the sophisticated Ponte Sheath Dress is perfect. It's not revealing, but still shapely and therefore figure flattering. When the air conditioning is blasting, a cardigan would be the perfect partner with this dress. Also, the neckline allows for many necklace options too. For example, a short string of pearls or a long multi-strand chain would both work perfectly while creating very different looks. Also, if you look closely, you'll see (my weakness) turnlocks on the patch pockets which adds such a great little detail to this basic of dress!

Bulga 'Kelly' Clutch 40% Off

Turnlocks are so awesome (note the recent love for the MbMJ Turnlock Wallet & Turnlock Heidi).

This is the Bulga Green Lizard Leather 'Kelly' Clutch and it is way more then just a gorgeous brushed goldtone turnlock.

Simply designed, in a bright green (also available in aqua), and crafted from lizard printed leather, this clutch is ideal for day or night.

It also doesn't skimp on practicality either. A wristlet strap is absolutely essential for clutches since it's practically impossible to balance a drink and your clutch while meeting and greeting. To further the efficiency, the strap also tucks neatly inside for a sleeker look.

MbMJ Totally Turnlock Heidi

Recently I posted about the adorable MbMJ Turnlock Leather Wallet.

I have also become completely smitten with the wallet's older sibling, the Marc by Marc Jacobs Totally Turnlock Heidi in Poppy. Some extra hardware on the front of the bag helps to balance the tiny turnlock from getting lost on the bag, and the handles are so squooshy and comfortable. In fact, the leather used for this bag (and the rest of the turnlock series) is just phenomenal - it's the type of supple leather that you can't keep your hands off.

I would love to own the Marc by Marc Jacobs Turnlock Wallet AND the Marc by Marc Jacobs Totally Turnlock Heidi and individually, my favorite color for both , but having both in the bright poppy may be overkill.

Maybe it's time to consider the Totally Turnlock Heidi in Mouse Grey. Although, it doesn't have the same kind of stop-you-in-your-racks-and-do-a-double-take power as the poppy does. Oh...decisions decisions...

MbMJ Turnlock Leather Wallet

I like the turnlock that appears on some of the Marc by Marc Jacobs items, and I really like it on this Marc by Marc Jacobs Turnlock Leather Wallet.

On some of the purses, the turnlock is a little small and gets lost, but it's a nice substantial piece of hardware on this wallet and adds interest to this basic item.

Oh, and the Poppy color is just so hot.
