Martin + Osa Review

Martin + Osa is a store from American Eagle Outfitters Inc targeting the 28 to 40 year-old demographic.

From Left to Right:

Scarf-Neck Top

The Osa Flower-Print Tank

Cashmere + Silk Cardigan

Extend Tab Trouser Jean

I loved the simple, unpretentious wardrobe basics that had soft, luxurious fabrics. The prices were fairly reasonable.

The store itself is fine - nothing striking, but nothing off putting either. The bright lighting on the sales floor was a little stark for my liking. Conversely, the dressing room felt like it wanted to be a sauna with lighting so dim, it was a challenge to get a true idea of how the items looked on.

Currently, there are only 20 Martin + Osa stores, and surprisingly, 2 of them are here in Massachusetts (usually more "fashionable" places get new stores first, but I guess good ol' MA was identified as a haven for the M+O demographic).

Antik Denim Jeans on Sale

iconThe Antik Denim Dark Wash Wide Leg Jeans is a clean jean with a sophisticated dark wash and beautiful contrast embroidery.

The wide leg resembles a tailored pant and are not like the jeans that cling to your leg, which makes it more flattering on more bodytypes.

The contrast embroidery at the cuff does cut off the line of the leg a little, but counter that with a pointy toe heel.

Oh, and the back pockets (like most Antik Denim jeans) is very ornate and will draw extra attention to your behind, so if your behind doesn't want attention, it'd be best to bypass these particular jeans.

Kasil Jeans

I retired a pair of Kasil Jeans almost a year ago and I'm still not over the loss yet.

Soft, yet durable denim that fits well, it's not surprising I find myself drawn to Kasil yet again.

The Luna in Midnight Rinse is a basic, no fuss, no muss straight leg jean. A nice clean wash that can be dressed up or down. Perfect for a night on the town or just for kicking around.

Recently though, I've been craving more of a trouser jean like the Chelsea Jean in Rinse. A nice easy wide leg and a little dressier, these jeans are sleek and polished.

Oh, can't forget to mention that these jeans are on sale!

Perfect Wide Leg Trouser Jeans by Paige

I'd wear these adorable Paige Wide-Leg Trouser Jeans to my business-casual office since they are cut like a pant, but I'd also dress these down and wear in situations where jeans would not be dressy enough, but a dress or dress pants would be too formal.

They're like khakis - but way more chic and sophisticated.

Plus, whatever the trend is, I am always a huge fan of a wider leg since they are so flattering on a lot of body types.

These items all look so hot. Classy and wearable for years to come, but still bold and unique.
