Cute Hoodie
The Semaphore Hoodie is dressy as far as hoodie goes - the perfect casual-chic piece. It looks so pretty when open with the drape-front, and looks equally good buttoned up too.

Martin + Osa Review

Martin + Osa is a store from American Eagle Outfitters Inc targeting the 28 to 40 year-old demographic. From Left to Right:
Scarf-Neck Top
The Osa Flower-Print Tank
Cashmere + Silk Cardigan
Extend Tab Trouser Jean

I loved the simple, unpretentious wardrobe basics that had soft, luxurious fabrics. The prices were fairly reasonable. The store itself is fine - nothing striking, but nothing off putting either. The bright lighting on the sales floor was a little stark for my liking. Conversely, the dressing room felt like it wanted to be a sauna with lighting so dim, it was a challenge to get a true idea of how the items looked on.
Currently, there are only 20 Martin + Osa stores, and surprisingly, 2 of them are here in Massachusetts (usually more "fashionable" places get new stores first, but I guess good ol' MA was identified as a haven for the M+O demographic).

Asymmetry on Tops

The Dolce Cabo Asymmetrical Print Short-Sleeve Cardigan has a lovely paisley-esque print that spans almost half of the front. Yet, it's not too outrageous because the colors are neutral.
This Embellished Top is a simple white v-neck tee with pretty beading on one shoulder making it a little less ordinary.

Cute Kohl's Stuff
With short-sleeves and made of cotton, the Simply Vera Vera Wang Ribbed Cardigan is an easy layering option. The slight gathering at the cuff of the sleeve is great and the 'Ruset Clay' color is so lovely.
The AB Studio Cardigan looks like it came from J.Crew, but at a fraction of the price.
Pretty, flowing skirts and warm weather go together so well. The apt. 9® Leaf & Flowers Yoked Skirt has a lovely border print.
These daisy fuentes® Sleek Flats in gold or silver have a charming braided rope-looking bow. The pointy toe helps to keep you looking long and lean.
Perfect for everyday, but not lacking in style, the multi-strandness of the apt. 9® Rectangle French Ironwork Bracelet gives this bracelet some added interest.
A chunky chain and fairly substantial sized stone makes the Sterling Silver Green Amethyst & Quartz Necklace a stand-out piece that is easy to wear.

Long Cardis
Recently, I've been enjoying my shorter length tops and sweaters (the ones that hit at high hip or are cropped - with a cami or tank underneath). I've been enjoying how my waistline looks higher, thus my legs look longer, and in turn, I look taller. However, I'm intrigued by the longer length v-neck cardigans that have been hanging around.
I love the bright colors that are available in the Lux Basic Long Cardigan.
For a supremely soft and lightweight cardi, the Michael Stars Long Cardigan Supima Long Sleeve definitely fits the bill. It looks so relaxed but still clean and put together.
When buttoned up, the row of buttons create a vertical line which is helpful for creating the illusion of length. However, it is important to make sure that this style doesn't mess with your body proportions too much making your torso look long and your legs stubby. Tall girls don't need to worry about this, but some of us may not want to make our legs look any shorter. Also, it's important to check where the cardigan ends on your body - don't need it to end right around the widest part of your hips because that's just going to emphasize them.

Layering Time
Cardigans are so perfect as the weather starts to fluctuate. A light layer than you can easily remove if you get too warm is great. The French Connection 'Ella' Knit Cardigan is such a gorgeous color. Scoopnecks are very flattering for most figures and is a nice in-between a crewneck and a v-neck. The 3/4 sleeve is also great. Sometimes long sleeves are too covered up for my liking, but what use is a layer if it's not going to cover something?
Jeweled black buttons finish off this simple, yet adorable sweater.
50% off right now (was $98.00, now only $48.90!).

Black & White @ ATL
Left to Right:
Textured Cotton Sheath Dress (it's nice to have pockets on a dress, but if you don't want extra attention to your hips, you may want to avoid this piece),
Floral Printed Scoop Neck Cardigan (a nice patterned knit, the row of buttons down the front creates an elongating line down the front of the torso),
Botanical Garden Pleated Skirt (linen is the perfect summer fabric, but it can look very casual, the floral print and contrast waistband and hem make this skirt more sophisticated).

Bold Colored Sweaters @ J.Crew

Left to Right:Solid Kelly Jacket,
Cotton-Cashmere Primrose Cardigan,
Corinne Sweater Jacket,
Academy Cardigan
The bright, bold colors that have been hanging around J.Crew lately are phenomenal. They're just the thing to brighten things up and get you in the mood for spring.
A substantial sweater jacket like the Solid Kelly Jacket or the Corinne Sweater Jacket are perfect replacements for a blazer and have a different look.
The ruffles on the Cotton-Cashmere Primrose Cardigan combined with the juicy color creates a playful/flirty look.
And not to forget the gorgeous Academy Cardigan, a cardigan in a beautiful shade of green in a classic v-neck cardigan, but this cardi is made fresh with the addition of a few patch pockets and contrast embossed buttons.

Pattern V-Neck Cardigan
I like wearing a v-neck cardigan open since it creates a nice vertical line (which helps you look taller). When crewneck cardigans open also create this effect too, but all my v-neck cardigans drape better.
