I just found out that a lot of the brands sold at Anthropologie are actually house-owned labels.
Like the Crimson bag. It's made by Bica Cheia, which is owned by Anthro's parent company, Urban Outfitters.

That's very interesting!
It makes sense that Urban Outfitters, Inc would want to load up on private labels like Free People and Bica Cheia because of higher margins, but they certainly have been quiet about it!
I guess they want to make it seem like they get a funky, eclectic mix of stuff from lots of places!
