A Bold Winter Coat

It's chilly out there and I'm already thinking about winter coats. I'm a fan of winter coats that aren't dull, dark colors. It's nice to have something that will brighten up the drab weather of winter.

This Coffee Shop Raspberry Wool Herringbone Coat is just the ticket. Not only is it a delicious color, but the herringbone gives this coat some great texture.

Plus, it's the perfect length for getting in the car (the description DOES contain the words "car coat" after all).

I fell madly in love with the color purple.

I hated purple when I was a kid. Actually, I probably purchased my first purple piece just a little over a year and a half ago.

I now LOVE this color...and I LOVE this AE Vintage Cardigan.

I'm a fan of black and brown together, and I've seen it done with impressive results. I think I need to be brave and do it myself more often.

I have been so obsessed with almond toed pumps lately. The perfect mix of pointy and round, these babies are perfect for almost any occasion and outfit.

Boston Skyline T by Johnny Cupcakes

I visited the Johnny Cupcakes store on Newbury St when it first opened, but sadly didn't find anything I was crazy for.

When I saw the Boston Skyline T on their website though, my interest was piqued/peaked.

It masks itself as a ho-hum, regular ol' white t-shirt until woah! THERE'S THE ENTIRE BOSTON SKYLINE!

Pretty damn cool. Not so ho-hum now!

I love red. I love versatile clothing. Therefore, it makes tons of sense for me to love this DKNY 3/4 Sleeve Cozy with Side Slit.

Personally, I would have called it a wrap cardigan, but who am I to argue with the lovely Donna Karan?

There are tons of ways to wear the Cozy (shown on the website) and the color is beautiful. I'm in all sorts of love!

Facing Fall!

Ah, Labor Day Weekend - the weekend of steals and deals as stores get rid of summer merchandise and start to celebrate fall!

I am loving this Michael Kors' Wrap Jacket. It comes in this sexy "Ginger" color that is reminiscent of fall leaves. There is no doubt that this coat will pull the eye upwards and the belt is great for cinching and creating and itsy bitsy teeny tiny waist.

This coat would also be wonderful for my driving commute. I wouldn't need to worry about the bottom of my coat when I get in the car (the longer the coat, the more fussing I need to do, plus, I always seem to half sit on my peacoats) and those 3/4 sleeves definitely won't be getting in my way when driving!
