Hottie Patottie Blazer

This gorgeous "Couture-Allure Blazer" looks simply fabulous.

The tweed, the sexy shape, the lace trim - I love it all!

Not to mention the fact that this is THE perfect blazer to wear to work AND on the weekends (look how gorgeous it looks with jeans!).

Turtleneck Dresses

L to R:
Turtleneck Sweater Dress, Wool Sleeveless Knit Dress, Cotton Spandex Jersey Turtleneck Dress, Turtleneck Sheath Dress, Puff-Sleeve Turtleneck Dress, Navy Blue Turtleneck Dress

Dresses are a staple this season and there are plenty of options to make sure you stay warm (especially if you live around my neck of the woods). I love the idea of a turtleneck dress that can keep you warm and it's simple to just put on some boots/pumps and some jewelry and just head out. I particularly love the Puff-Sleeve Turtleneck Dress because it has some very elegant details and it's long enough to be work appropriate and the short sleeves are great just in case it gets warm. Also, the sleeveless versions are great to wear with a tee underneath for an easy switch-up.

Old Navy Cashmere??

I was browsing around the Internets and man, I really sat up straight when I saw this Women's Cashmere Scoop Neck Sweater at OldNavy.com!

It looks like a nice classy piece. I'll need to go to the store and check out the quality, but at $49.50, this seems like a pretty good deal!

Sweat(er)in' It Up!

L to R: Argyle Sweater Vest, Waffle Knit Shell, Two Way Street Pullover, Ribbed Sweater Dress, Mohair-Enriched Sweater, Ribbed Sleeveless Turtleneck

These sweaters are gorgeous! The Argyle Sweater Vest would be a perfect layering piece for the season, as is the Waffle Knit Shell...the pretty ruffle details are great. The Two Way Street Pullover has a great name and it's reversible (so you have a layering piece that does double duty!). I love the Ribbed Sweater Dress as shown...it just looks so cozy and comfy, but at the same time it's very chic! I like the shape of the Mohair-Enriched Sweater, it just looks like such an easy piece to put on and incorporate into an outfit, but with it's slight gathering at the neckline and the tie waist, it looks very finished, like you could add accessories and go all out, but you don't need to since the sweater already has pretty details. I'm currently in love with the idea of the Ribbed Sleeveless Turtleneck since it's so versatile, but you can throw a cardigan or sweater over it and it's not going to be too bulky OR wear alone (if your office is like mine, it'll be freezing one moment, but boiling hot the next)...although, what I really want to do is pair it with this wrap cardigan.

Purses

L to R:
BCBGirls "Roma" Retro Frame Quilted Clutch, M Missoni Printed Calfhair Silver Frame Handbag,
Missoni Orange Leather Angular Tote Handbag
, Croquet Tote

I love all these purses!!

The clutch because I have a slight obsession with quilted ANYthing. I love the Dalmatian print on the Printed Calfhair purse and that purse has dress-up and dress-down potential. The BRIGHT orange tote looks awesome with those straps on it. And the cobalt colored tote looks like it's perfectly worn in but is definitely capable of hauling a lot of stuff.

Hmmm...purses.

Beltin' It Up

So belts are not accessories that I normally use. I don't buy pants that require a belt (I guess there are some jeans that should be belted if I plan on doing any plumber-type bending over), but I just don't have a need for belts.

Suddenly, I've been having the idea that a nice, elegant belt would be just what I need to perk and class things up. I love this Skinny Brooch Belt from Banana Republic. It's skinny mini but it's still got that bit of bling that will announce it's presence and glam things up (even on a workday).

Cute or Ugly?

So, I can't figure out if this is awesome or just plain silly looking.

I like the versatility of the wrap cardigan. I love wraps because it's so easy and cazsh just to throw it over your shoulders and go, but of course, they slip off your shoulders and thus it becomes a pain in the tuckus to have to keep rearranging to that the wrap is on your shoulders but not getting in your way (i.e. while you're eating/working etc.).

I just wonder if I'll look as awesome in it as the model does......................

Awesome Necklace

I love this pretty Coral and Oynx Necklace.

It's nice and different since the chain is oxidized and the Oynx with the brightly colored coral branches is beautiful.

(Oh...and it's long...so it's a layerable piece too!)

Bold Hued Bags

I just adore these awesome brighly colored purses!

These bags will definitely brighten up any outfit (and any dreary winter day). Plus, both these purses have great metal hardware that definitely adds that lil extra zing.

A Lovely Sweater

Oh, won't someone please offer to purchase this beautiful Nanette Lepore Holly Solid Ruffle Wool Turtleneck and sneak it straight into my closet?

It's a beautiful basic turtleneck that can be worn forever and ever, but with gorgeous details like a ruffled neck, sexy keyhole cutout, gathering at the shoulders and blouson sleeves make this piece really sexy and special.

Dainty Necklaces

I love simple, pretty necklaces that go with anything and can be worn as a daily signature piece.

Although they're sleek and simple, these lovely lil baubles don't lack any pizzazz and will perk up almost any outfit.

The Must-Have Work Pants

It's always such a pain to find pants. There's always SOMEthing that's not quite right when I'm trying pants on. The rise is too high, the legs are too short/long, there's no back pockets...the list goes on and on.

However, to my surprise, when I set out to find a pair of dark grey pants this season, I didn't need to look much further than trusty ol' Banana Republic with their Martin Lightweight Wool Trouser.

The rise isn't as high as gramps' pants, but isn't asscrackingly low either. The length is perfect with a pair of heels and the leg is long, lean and streamlined. PLUS, the dark grey color is the perfect grey. It's dark enough for fall/winter, but won't be too dark for warmer months. Also, the lightweight wool is a good year-round material.

Man, how great it is to have found an amazing pair of put-together work pants!

Holland Cox Handmade Classics

I was browsing around and I found these adorable Holland Cox handmade items.

Left: Passport Case
Right: Evening Clutch (in Honeycomb)

I love the Passport Case (part of the Travel Collection) since I always seem to have a problem with keeping everything altogether when I travel ("I've found my passport...now where is that boarding pass?!").

The Evening Clutch (in Honeycomb) is so beautiful. I particularly love the Honeycomb pattern with the gold handstrap. It's so gorgeous!

The Holland Cox website also mentions that you can create custom orders from the current fabric collection (without any additional fee)!

Bags for Different Occasions

These are such cute purses!

I love the Ann Taylor Suede and Leather Tote (at left) for work or for those days you just need to carry a ton of stuff.

The Prada Bow Strap Shoulder Pochette (near right) would be SOO adorable for going out and the Prada Tessuto Nylon and Leather Shoulder Bag (far right) would be so great for throwing essentials in and running to the store.

The Prada purses have great prices too! The Bow Strap Shoulder Pochette is a mere $189 while the Tessuto Nylon and Leather Shoulder Bag is a nice $198.

Yum-yummy!

Hell...I Love ANYthing Layerable!

Layering is big for fall and these layered tops would be a great underpinning for a cardi, sweater or jacket.

L to R: Velvet Starr S/S Deep Vee Top in Brandy, Ella Moss Two-Tone Tank

I like the bright color of the Velvet Starr Top and I love the back of the Ella Moss Tank (there's a ruffle that runs down the racer back of the tank). And the colors of both these tops will work nicely for fall.

Layerable Necklaces

I love layered necklaces (or necklaces that won't mind being layered with other necklaces).

At left is the Sandra Goodkind Sterling Silver Triple Strand Necklace. It's a nice basic piece that can be worn alone or with other necklaces. At $65.00, the price tag is pretty nice too.

At right is the Misch Necklace by Rachel Leigh N.Y.. I like that it's simple but the agate stone pendant is a very nice touch. And at $56.10, it's a steal!
